London PA Awards 2015 sponsors
The London PA Awards are brought to you by The Hippodrome Casino in partnership with Londonlaunch and supported by our sponsors: Tate, London Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Square Mile.
Since its opening in July 2012 as the UK’s largest casino, The Hippodrome quickly attracted rave reviews for its vast range of attractions and facilities, including four floors of gaming, a restaurant, cabaret theatre that transforms into a 180 seat events and conference venue, six bars, several meeting rooms and private dining areas, plus an award winning smoking terrace. All this with the added benefit of being in the heart of the West End. This is why we are the must-see venue for those tasked with organizing everything from Christmas and company parties to film premieres, product launches, and company events to intimate dinners.
‘We at The Hippodrome have a lot thanks for PA/EA, they are a large source of Events booking with us, from small dinners for their bosses, business meetings, conferences, to the large corporate events. Which is why The Hippodrome is proud to be involved what we hope will soon become the awards to win.’

It’s the strongest guarantee in the industry, and ensures the right person for the job, every time.
‘As specialists in high-end office recruitment, we have a first-hand understanding of how vital PAs and EAs are to UK businesses – and we celebrate them in everything we do. We’ve seen from experience that when they’re championed, they develop; and as they develop, so do the businesses they work for.
So, when there’s an opportunity to celebrate great PAs and EAs, we want to be involved. It’s good for us, it’s good for candidates, and it’s good for UK businesses.’

The Lord’s Taverners was founded in 1950 by a group of actors who enjoyed a pint or two while watching cricket from the Tavern at Lord’s. Since then, it has developed into a vibrant members charity. In 1987, the Lady Taverners was formed, quickly becoming a vital part of our fundraising efforts. We now have more than 5,000 members throughout the UK in over 50 regional volunteer groups. They share a love of cricket and a desire to ensure that as many young people as possible have the chance to improve their lives through sport and recreation.
Our charitable mission is to enhance the prospects of disadvantaged and disabled young people through sport and recreation. We have donated over £50 million with around £3 million currently spent each year across our charitable activities to give young people a ‘sporting chance’ in life.
We run cricket programmes for young people in disadvantaged communities across the UK and supply equipment to ensure they can enjoy the game year-round. We also recycle unused and unwanted sports kit for young people in the UK and overseas.
Our disability cricket, wheelchair basketball and boccia competitions are enjoyed by young people with a range of disabilities, while we also provide accessible minibuses for special educational needs schools, sports wheelchairs, sensory equipment and outdoor play spaces to give disabled young people access to sporting and recreational activities.
We have a reputation for making our fundraising fun, through dinners, golf days, musical evenings, race days, quizzes, celebrity cricket matches, cruises, fashion shows and a host of other events, including Royal receptions with our Patron and ‘Twelfth Man’, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
Created in 2002 by Lynne Parker, as a ‘knee jerk’ reaction to a misogynistic comedy promoter who claimed that ‘women aren’t funny’, The Funny Women Awards were launched 13 years ago and now set the standard for new female comic talent. The company also produces shows and events all over the UK and at leading festivals, such as the Edinburgh Fringe. Funny Women is the UK’s leading community for female comedy helping women to perform, write and do business with humour.
Funny Women now channels the experience of working with an enormous cross section of women in comedy to coach women in business and public life. This is run under the banner of ‘Stand Up to Stand Out’ with a range of workshops, seminars and conferences, both public and bespoke, aimed at helping women to improve their self-confidence and hone their presentation skills both professionally and personally.
At the heart of Funny Women’s philosophy is a desire to help women find their voice, whether that be through performing, writing or using humour in business and every-day life.
