50 years of Royal Garden Hotel

2015 is a special year for Royal Garden Hotel as we celebrate our 50th anniversary.

We have sat in the heart of Kensington since 1965 and 1 August represents our half century birthday. In the past 50 years we have seen it all from hosting the 1966 World Cup draw, to housing rock stars such as Rod Stewart. Our stylish and luxurious decor, combined with an unrivalled service and great location has kept our guests coming back year after year.

To honour our birthday we are holding 12 months of special events including promotions, competitions and putting together our commemorative book. We have been asking guests to send in their favourite moments from their time with us, whether it be a wedding, anniversary or a memorable occasion.

Take Dennis and Christine McLaughlin for example. Earlier this year the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary after first meeting in Kensington and getting engaged in Kensington Gardens. Next year they turn 70 and are returning to the place where it all began, Royal Garden Hotel.

While we take a nostalgic look back at this most poignant time, we are also looking ahead to the future. As we turn 50 we want to create yet more unique experiences and evolve our distinctive five star experiences for every guest that checks in.

Whether it be enjoying the finest cuisine in the gourmet Min Jiang Chinese restaurant while overlooking Kensington Garden and the London Skyline, or sitting down to our legendary afternoon tea, we never stop looking for ways to improve.

The coming year will see us develop Royal Garden Hotel to ensure that guests are ready to create their own Golden Moments, like Dennis and Christine, they can look back on for years to come.
