Having your special day at Gilwell Park is not just about amazing service, delicious food and a stunning venue, but about everything the venue has to offer...

The use of the lounge bar, outdoor areas for reception drinks or an evening barbeque, the grounds for photographs of your day and of course the large main hall for your wedding breakfast with space for up to 180 people for formal dining. The White House makes a stunning backdrop for your wedding and the main hall can be transformed with an internal marquee-style liner to convert the space into a classic banqueting hall that is both elegant and weather proof. If you want to wow your guests with an historic and unique venue without breaking the bank, Gilwell Park is the ideal location for your wedding.

The Gilwell Park team will work with you to help plan your day and are available to you not just when you first enquire or book with the,  but throughout the run up to your event, meaning that whatever your question, idea or query, you’ll have access to dedicated event experts who will help you get the most from your day.

Their experienced chefs are skilled at delivering amazing wedding reception menus on site using the highest quality freshest ingredients. They are able to offer options for dietary requirements including vegetarian, halal and kosher food.

Whether you are looking for a cosy winter wedding in February or a sizzling summer event in June, the stunning surroundings of Gilwell Park make for treasured photographs and memories of you and yours.

Gilwell Park is available for weddings, subject to availability, seven days a week.  

Choose the perfect setting to say 'I do' from five unique locations within the stunning 108 acre estate, from £1500. 

Betty Clay Library

Located in The White House, the Betty Clay Library holds up to 40 guests including the Wedding Couple. 

Baerlein Room

Located in The White House, the Baerlein holds up to 50 guests including the Wedding Couple. 

Group Room

Located in The White House, the Group Room holds up to 50 guests including the Wedding Couple. 

Seminar Suite

Located in the CIC, our Seminar Suite holds up to 70 guests including the Wedding Couple. 

Swan Centre

A large wooden cabin within the grounds of our estate, the Swan Centre holds up to 100 guests including the Wedding Couple. 

Gidney Cabin

Enjoy the option of an outdoor wedding under the porch of our beautiful log cabin. Seating for up to 100 guests, including the Wedding Couple, will also be provided.

Intimate Wedding Package - £65pp

Small weddingEnjoy an intimate wedding reception with a maximum of 70 guests (including children) within the historical setting of our 17th Century, Grade II listed manor house.

Our Intimate Wedding Package includes a Wedding Co-ordinator from point of enquiry to booking and any food tasting before the event, as well as a complimentary night’s stay for the Wedding Couple in our Bridal Suite with breakfast the next morning.

It also includes the following per person:

  • Two glasses of a welcome drink

    Choose from sparkling wine, Prosecco, Bucks Fizz, Pimm’s, fruit punch or non-alcoholic wine

  • A seasonal three course Wedding Breakfast

  • 1⁄2 bottle of house wine or non-alcoholic wine during the meal

  • A toast drink of sparkling wine or non-alcoholic wine

You also have the option of upgrading elements of this package for the additional charges as outlined below:

  • Champagne - £5pp

  • Wine from £3pp

  • Chair covers and sashes - £4pp

  • Three canapés - £7.50pp
