"rhubarb" at the BAFTA Awards 2013!
“rhubarb” once again caters for the annual BAFTA Television Awards!
On 12th May, “rhubarb” provided delicious canapés for up to 1,400 guests as well as a three-course dinner for all the television stars attending Arqiva British Academy Television Awards 2013!
The acclaimed award ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall was a star-studded occasion with the likes of TV duo Ant and Dec gracing the stage. The awards work within the industry to identify and reward excellence and therefore inspire practitioners and benefit the public. BAFTA is a leading charity ensuring that the best creative work can be accessed and appreciated by the public.
With annual winners ranging from the production team who put together the Royal Wedding to reality TV favorites, the awards attract a whole host of audiences.
The “rhubarb” development kitchen created an innovative and stylish menu to excite and intrigue the diners. Guests enjoyed a carefully selected choice of canapés chosen from our extensive canapé list, such as fillet of beef with baby fondant potato and classic sauce Béarnaise or an asparagus and parmesan risotto in a crisp cornet. In addition to the exquisite canapés were the cocktails and champagne which got the evening off to a good start!
Following “rhubarb’s” signature canapés was a stunning three-course meal with delicious combinations such as our confit of duck with butternut squash purée, date and apple chutney and a spring green and star anise jus. A spring-inspired pudding and more drinks brought the evening to a close.
