The National Trust and “rhubarb” announce an exclusive partnership

The National Trust and “rhubarb” are proud to announce a unique collaboration with selected National Trust properties around London and the Home Counties. This exclusive partnership means that both partieswill work together to create spectacular events in some of the UK’s most prestigious venues helping to raise money for the restoration and preservation of these historic landmarks.

The list of iconic venues includes Osterley Park & House, Petworth House, Stowe Landscape Gardens, Ham House, Sissinghurst Castle & Gardens, Basildon Park, The Vyne, Claydon, Hughenden Manor, Fenton House and Garden and Leith Hill Place. Each National Trust venue will have a dedicated “rhubarb” event planner to oversee all aspects of an event from the bespoke menu design to liaising with the property general managers to ensure all logistical considerations and operations run smoothly.

The collaboration means that these historic buildings will be able to enjoy events from themed balls, stylish weddings to spectacular dinners. The variety of rooms, spaces and backdrops from enchanted gardens to stately homes mean that event organisers have a wide selection of choices to suit any occasion or celebration.

Ben Duffy, Commercial Development Consultant, for the National Trust, says:

“We have been looking at ways to bring our properties to life so that people can enjoy them in new and exciting ways. This exciting new partnership with Rhubarb will make our iconic venues more accessible for event organisers who are looking for unique and prestigious locations around London and the Home Counties.

“Some of our beautiful properties were originally created to host lavish functions and dinners and today make the perfect setting for a wide choice of events. We hope this partnership will help raise additional funding for conservation work, to restore and maintain these historic buildings and landscapes for generations to come.”Glen Sutton - Director of Events at “rhubarb” says of the partnership “We are thrilled to be working with the National Trust to create exceptional events that haven’t been seen in many of these venues for centuries.
