Master The Class at Chinese Cricket Club!

Executive Chef de Cuisine, Brendan Speed, formerly of Zuma Istanbul, is hosting a series of master classes that will reveal the secrets behind some of the restaurant’s most popular dishes.

During these fascinating 90 minute presentations, guests will be able to test their senses and have an opportunity to taste, smell and touch some of the specialist ingredients that are the staples of Chinese cooking. Intriguing background information on the origins of and the history behind these ingredients will also be given.

A selection of these dishes will then be prepared and cooked in front of the guests, showcasing the traditional cooking methods, the distinctive flavours and the delightful aromas that are the cornerstones of Chinese cuisine.

Following the master class, guests will be treated to a sumptuous, five-course banquet featuring several of the dishes they have seen prepared.

Classes will run every Friday from 16th April 2010 from 2:30pm - 4:30pm.

All this plus beverages to match costs just £57.50 per head. Each class is between 6 - 10 people per session and early reservations are recommended. To reserve a place please email loncy.ccc@ihg.com
