Weekend of Festive Fun at the Black Horse Kingston
The Black Horse, Hippo Inns’ Kingston venture are starting off the festive period with a weekend of festive fun at their Christmas Market full of arts, crafts and festive nibbles. The first weekend in December, 2nd-4th sees the first ever Black Horse Christmas Market, with 17 stalls, the Black Horse’s very own hot chocolate bar, a fir tree stand and local carol singers, it is the perfect place to get you in the Christmas spirit and get some Christmas shopping done.
To start off the weekend of festivities Friday night sees British artisan cheese and local beer pairing followed by a butchery demo on Saturday which will be useful for anyone who has to carve this Christmas. Half of the proceedings for the weekend will go to Momentum Cancer Care for Children, so you can have a good time whilst also raising money for a good cause.
The Black Horse was established in 1893 and Hippo Inns has reinstated the pubs original name. The pub has been refurbished in a contemporary style whilst still keeping it cosy and casual so those only wanting a drink and those wanting to get stuck in for a delicious meal both feel at home. Only a 5-minute walk from Norbiton station the pub comprises of a large open bar, a raised dining area, a games room with foosball, darts and pinball machines and a beautifully spacious beer garden. The Black Horse at Kingston offers fantastic food focusing on simple, good quality ingredients. Food is served for lunch and supper Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday, as well as all day bar snacks.
