Chandos House is a Grade I listed Georgian townhouse, built by the Adam family between 1769 and 1771. Over the past 240 years Chandos House has been a private residence to various Dukes, Barons and Counts, an Austrian Embassy, an events venue and even went through a period of disrepair in the 20th century.
Today following a multimillion refurbishment project, the house has six principal function rooms, furnished with beautiful painted ceilings, carved Sienna Marble fireplaces, Victorian Waterford Crystal Chandeliers and gilded mirrors. Event organisers and guests are able to stay overnight within one of our 17 individually designed bedrooms.
Our Garden Terrace provides a rare haven, allowing you to entertain your guests in comfort and privacy both indoors and outdoors. Drinks and food can also be served in the adjoining Terrace Room which contains beautiful period features including a mahogany bar and large Venetian windows.
The house can be hired exclusively and can accommodate for up to 150 guests for a lavish wedding celebrations, product launches, fashion show, film/photo-shoots, drinks receptions or Christmas & summer parties. Each room in the venue can also be hired on an individual basis and used for conferences and meetings
