Clare Hammond
Acclaimed as a pianist of "amazing power and panache" (The Telegraph), Clare Hammond is recognised for the virtuosity and authority of her performances and is developing a "reputation for brilliantly imaginative concert programmes" (BBC Music Magazine, 'Rising Star').
Clare makes her film debut as the younger version of Dame Maggie Smith's character, Miss Shepherd, in the Alan Bennett film adaptation The Lady in the Van, released nationwide in cinemas in November 2015. Clare performs in a number of flashback scenes recreating a Proms concert in the 1930s, and enacts Miss Shepherd's experiences as a novice nun some years later. Her performances of Chopin and Schubert appear on the soundtrack, released by Sony Classics.
Clare's last disc release, 'Etude', continues to garner critical acclaim with the American Record Review describing it as "one of the most enjoyable recordings to come my way this year". Her recent recital for the Swansea International Festival was hailed as a "glittering trove of musical gems" in Seen and Heard International.

Sara is well established as one of the foremost violinists of her generation, acclaimed for her "fiery and passionate" performance style (The Strad). She divides her time between recitals, concerts with the trio and concerto performances. She has made a number of recordings, most recently a disc of Schubert violin and piano music (with Dan Tong) for the Champs Hill label.
