The shooting ground itself has played host to major clay shooting World Championships and is regarded as one of the finest facilities of its kind in the world.
Combine this expertise with over 150 shooting stands and six clay disciplines incorporating three high towers where you can shoot targets higher than 150ft, purpose built grouse butts, skeet, compak and English Sporting layouts.
Our layouts provide an unparalleled opportunity for game shooting clients to prepare for even the most challenging of birds in the field. Our clay shooting disciplines are used religiously by Olympic standard athletes in advance of major competitions. In parallel, we also possess some less challenging layouts well suited to introducing young and novice shots to the sport.
Well-known for our friendly, relaxed approach, our team has the ability to instruct both complete novices and experienced shots.
All the equipment you will need for your lesson will be provided including a shotgun, cartridges and safety equipment, although you are welcome to use your own. We have a large selection of over and under and side by side shotguns in a variety of calibres and lengths so we can provide you with the best fitting gun for your lesson.
A portfolio of lesson options are available to suit all requirements including introductory Have A Go sessions, individual private lessons, the Young Guns Academy for children over nine years old and game shooting masterclasses. As well as this, we also offer group tuition and in-field instruction during the game season.
For the more experienced shots, we also offer caddied practice rounds where you can enjoy flexible shooting and unrivalled variety where our full range of stands are at your disposal.
