Apothecaries’ Hall, located within walking distance of London Blackfriars, is the oldest surviving Livery Hall in the City of London, having been built in 1672. The Apothecaries’ Hall is made up of 3 main areas, the Great Hall, Court Room and Parlour, all included in the exclusive venue hire and each room full of ancient artefacts from the rich 400 year history of the Apothecaries’ Company. Apothecaries' Hall is approached through an atmospheric private courtyard, off a cobbled lane that has survived intact since the Great Fire. The Court Room and adjoining Parlour are filled with fine paintings and antiquities, and offer intimate reception spaces. The Great Hall remains as it was in 1672, with a carved screen, minstrels' gallery and beautiful stained glass. The charming Courtyard provides a wonderful backdrop for summer hospitality - with capacity for 200 guests, this is private entertaining at its most exclusive. Available by special request for corporate, city, charity and some private events.
